For cold process soap only. Dangerous — must handle with full safety equipment. Store securely.
Melt and pour soap base
If not making cold process soap — remove if using cold process.

Australian Consumer Law compliance
Products must be safe for their intended use and accurately described.
Cosmetic labelling compliance
INCI ingredient names are mandatory on all skincare products — required under Australian cosmetics regulations. Ingredients listed in descending order of concentration.
Allergen declaration
Almond oil is a tree nut allergen. Fragrance allergens must be declared. Check all ingredients for potential allergens.
Public Liability Insurance
Product Liability Insurance
Critical for skincare and cosmetics — covers harm caused by the product itself. Do not trade without it.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
For lye/sodium hydroxide and fragrance oils — must be on hand at all times.
Soap pH compliance
Cold process soap must be fully cured (minimum 4-6 weeks) and pH tested before selling. pH above 10 can cause burns.
